Audrey Tautou in Beaumont Puy De Domme, France was born on the 9th of August 1976. Audrey is the oldest child of four. Audrey Tautou's parents, who have a doctor for teeth and a school teacher, supported and encouraged her initial passion for drama and theater. The initial goal of her to be a monkey expert was replaced by a desire to learn about drama and theater. The early success of her career and the rapid increase in recognition was a sign of her development as an actor. When she finished her education She was a part of the French television show that scouts talent Jeunes Premiers which was sponsored by Canal+. She won the award for the best young Actress prize at the Beziers Festival of Young Actors in the year 2000. She then began a acting career. Tautou studied at Institut Catholique de Paris, attended church as a young girl and was raised Catholic. However she has now distanced herself with her Catholic upbringing. As well as her acting profession she also pursued a modeling career. She is also the face of L'Oreal Mont Blanc & Chanel and is often referred to as The Chanel Muse. Her photography is also a hobby and she has recently displayed her work at the Arles festival under the name Superficial. Her photographs are largely about famous people and celebrities. Audrey Tautou shot to stardom and global fame after her debut role as a lead character in the film Le Fabuleux Destin de l'Amelie Poulain. Amelie was a box-office international success, and received accolades at awards galas around all over the world. It is the most successful French language film in the US. In the following year, she starred in British dramas like Stephen Knight's Dirty Pretty Things as well as Jean-Pierre Jeunet's Un long Sunday de Faancailles. Then Tautou moved to Hollywood where Ron Howard directed the Dan Brown bestseller The Da Vinci Code.
